IDNPLAY Raises Macau’s Poker Stakes

IDNPLAYMacau’s biggest annual gaming industry event, G2E Asia, was held at the Venetian Macao from 16 to 18 May 2017 and among the highlights of the exhibition and conference was a special charity poker tournament hosted by IDNPLAY.

Held at the Venetian’s Poker King Club, the tournament saw around 120 players compete for a handful of major prizes including a special edition IDNPLAY customized Rolex Submariner, a Tag Heuer Connected and a Macbook Air for the top three finishers. An Apple iPad was also given away to those who finished 4th to 10th.

The charity poker tournament raised HK$57,000 which was donated to its beneficiary, the local charity Lar de Nossa Senhora de Penha.

In conjunction with Oriental Game, IDNPLAY’s guests were later treated to a “Work Hard, Play Hard” party to show appreciation to their business partners for their loyalty and support throughout the years. The party was led by DJ Leng Yein and DJ Yasmin and was attended by more than 400 people.

IDNPLAY is an online platform provider whose flagship product, IDNPoker, debuted in 2nd spot in multiplayer poker network rankings worldwide – another indication of Asia’s growing love of poker. IDNPoker also features industry staple games such as blackjack and Asian games like domino and Capsa.

Feature: IDNPoker and the Explosion of Poker in China

IDNPLAYIn his first ever interview, IDNPlay chief executive Daniel Alexis explains how Asian-facing IDNPoker became the world’s second most popular real money poker network.

IDNPoker seemed to come out of nowhere in January, when it appeared in third place on PokerScout’s poker liquidity charts. It has since risen above 888Poker to take second place. It is miles ahead of PartyPoker, iPoker and the rest and sits right behind PokerStars as the world’s second most popular real money online poker network. At the time of publication it had a seven-day average of 4,400 players per day, behind PokerStars’ 10,500 but comfortably ahead of 888Poker’s 1,500.

IDNPlay is the company behind IDNPoker and its chief executive officer Daniel Alexis calls Gaming Intelligence on Skype to take part in his first ever media interview. Before January hardly anyone outside of Asia knew about the company but its decision to list on PokerScout and its sheer weight of numbers made everyone sit up and take notice. So why did he decide to list on the site?
