NetEnt and Ve to Offer Big Data Marketing Buying Services to Global iGaming Sector

netentNetEnt AB (publ), a leading digital entertainment company, providing gaming solutions to online casino operators, and Ve Global (“Ve”), a marketing technology business that operates from product discovery through to purchase, have partnered to offer media buying services to online casino operators worldwide. Believed to be the largest data-collaboration of its kind in the iGaming sector, Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group Inc (“GiG”), is confirmed as the first customer to benefit from the technology.

The NetEnt and Ve partnership will reduce player acquisition cost and improve retention for online gaming operators worldwide, by creating a media buying platform that offers access to unrivalled audience intelligence and behavioural insights.

This means that casino operators can be more accurate and precise in their marketing activities, while reducing marketing spend and maximising return on marketing investments. The technology will achieve this by building an in-depth but anonymised understanding of online gaming audiences, and then harness this insight to serve display advertising that is more relevant to each user.

The partnership will use Ve’s proprietary Demand Side Platform (DSP), a technology developed in-house for media transparency and to reduce the costs built into 3rd party platforms. By pairing Ve’s DSP with NetEnt’s statistical insights, the new service will also give gaming operators more control over their campaigns and the ability to continuously optimise their ads to ensure maximum impact. Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group Inc (“GiG”), one of NetEnt’s current customers, is confirmed as the first customer to benefit from the technology.

Enrico Bradamante, Managing Director and Chief of EMO at NetEnt, said: “The partnership between NetEnt and Ve Global is about combining a leading media buying desk platform with a unique source of iGaming data, to serve a demand from international casino operators. We look forward to continue helping our customers stay ahead of the competition by offering a solution for more efficient marketing.”

Morten Tonnesen, CEO at Ve, said: “iGaming customer acquisition has not evolved as quickly as other online sectors and faced with stiff competition, casino operators need to start leveraging data to cost-effectively present advertising to relevant users across the Web. The combination of Ve’s technology and NetEnt’s unique insights means iGaming operators have the opportunity to execute programmatic media buying as efficiently as possible.”

Beta clients will be on-boarded towards the end of 2017, starting with GiG, and the official launch of the media buying service will take place early next year. Both NetEnt and Ve have also reinforced their commitment to protecting and respecting the privacy of those using their technology by adhering to stringent privacy principles in full compliance with applicable regulations.

NetEnt Official Uploads Planet of the Apes Video Slot

netentSwedish online casino games developer, NetEnt, in association with American film studio 20th Century Fox, has uploaded its latest video slot, Planet of the Apes.

While NetEnt isn’t due to roll out the Planet of the Apes video slot until October 23rd, this is certainly a nice teaser!

The five-reel, three-row, 20-payline slot game is based on two 20th Century Fox-distributed movies, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which play simultaneously on dual reels. The game’s mechanism lends itself to the multiplayer split-screen games played on old gaming consoles in days gone by.

The game allows players to journey through two completely different phases of Caesar’s life. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Caesar is the leader of an ape armada in the Muir Woods near San Francisco.

In addition to the Rise and Dawn play areas, the features of the video slot game include the Rise and Dawn Free Spins, Scatter symbols, Bonus symbols, a Dual feature, Wild substitutions, a stacked Wild feature and the Rise and Dawn Bonus features.

NetEnt’s Planet of the Apes video slot can be played on desktop, tablet, iPhone and Android device and employs flawless optimization. Players can choose to play-for-free or opt to control the number of coins per spin in keeping with their own particular gambling style. The two games in one mechanism means that each set of reels awards its prizes independently. The result of the two sets combining can produce some big payouts.

We’re bananas for this thematically-inspired two-in-one video slot and believe it will not only appeal to fans of the science fiction media franchise, but to those who are not familiar with the series that began with French author Pierre Boulle’s 1963 novel La Planète des Singes, as well.

NetEnt sealed the licensing agreement with 20th Century Fox Consumer Products for the Planet of the Apes film franchise for online casino gaming in February this year. The partnership between the two covers the entire Planet of the Apes brand, which spans more than 50 years.

Blood Suckers II: Has the Hugely Popular Online Slot Just Got Even Better?

netentNetEnt releases a sequel to one of its most popular classic slot titles. Blood Suckers II comes with significantly improved graphics and audio effects, but somewhat lower RTP

The original Blood Suckers slot is known to most fans of online slots – and not for no reason.

This classic NetEnt game has been around for quite a while and despite the fact its graphics are not up to today’s modern standards, the fact it features an RTP of about 98% has always been its biggest selling point.

That means for every $100 dollars wagered, players can, on average, expect to get back $98. Most slots hover around the 95% mark.

Now, NetEnt is getting ready to finally launch a sequel to this hugely popular classic with Blood Suckers II.

Improved gaming experience

The original Blood Suckers game could hardly measure up with today’s modern slots that employ modern technologies to give players an all-encompassing experience. This is not strange, given the fact Blood Suckers was released quite a few years ago.

However, the sequel rectifies the situation, presenting us with the game that brings out the best NetEnt development team has to offer.

The game features colorful and masterfully designed symbols representing vampires, demons, vampire hunters, and much more. The coveted scatter symbolis represented by a red rose.

The game’s soundtrack has also been improved, creating a more chilling and scary atmosphere, perfectly fitting for a slot that’s all about vampires, coffins, and scary creatures of the night.

Gameplay similar to the original

Bloodsuckers II comes with three reels, five rows, and 25 paylines.

The game’s return to player (RTP) is, disappointingly, slightly lower than the original, but still a rather high 96.94%, so if you’re willing to give up some of the RTP for an upgraded gaming experience, Bloodsuckers II won’t disappoint.

The slot has two main features – a click-and-pick bonus game and the free spins round. Like in the original, Blood Suckers II isn’t the game that offers huge payouts on any particular spin, but it is a slot that you can play for a long time with smaller but frequent payouts.

The bonus game is triggered by lining up three bonus symbols in a payline across the first three reels.

You’ll be taken inside the tomb to pick between various coffins hiding cash prizes, a key to move on to the next level, where even bigger prizes await, and a demon, which will end the bonus feature.

In total, there are five levels to the bonus game, and on the top level, you can uncover a very nice hit.

The free spins game is triggered by three scatters appearing anywhere on the reels. It is the standard bonus feature, with all wins multiplied 3x, and although Blood Suckers II isn’t the super-high paying game, you can still expect some decent wins in the free spins round with some luck.

Netent Announces Wolf Cub™ Slot

netentThe list of ‘ex-exclusive’ NetEnt slots is getting longer with another one planned for September. This time the NetEnt fans get treated by an endearing game called Wolf Cub™. The game will be all about a wolf cub, surrounded by some other friendly foresters. Featuring Wild substitutions, Scatter symbols, and Free Spins combined with the Blizzard Feature, you can expect some good fun on the reels.

Once upon a time in a cold and dark forest…

There was a lovely little wolf cub, seeking to find some friends while spending time in a dark and snowy forest. Every time the Wolfling sees some potential friends, he gets super excited. It seems that the bear, moose, lynx and the owl share that feeling which makes the Wolf Cub™ slot as cheerful as can be.

The Wolf Cub™ slot seems perfect for winter lovers. I’m certainly not one of them, but winter lover or animal lover, this video slot will most probably attract a large group of players. I can assure you it’s not going to be a blockbuster, but it looks like a decent game with an enjoyable free spins feature to enjoy.

Exclusive NetEnt slot

Until September arrives, you’ll find the Wolf Cub™ slot in just a handful of NetEnt Casinos, operated by the same company. It has been a trend for a while already with many NetEnt Casinos offering an exclusive NetEnt slot. Sometimes just for a few weeks or months while some of these exclusive games will never be released globally.

The last exclusive NetEnt slot released globally was NRVNA™ in 2016 while in 2015 Glow™, King of Slots™, and Fantasini: Master of Mystery™ lost their exclusive character. Soon the assortment of “ex-exclusive” NetEnt slots is going to be extended with the Wolf Cub™ slot being launched 7th September.

Wolf Cub™ slot

On the 7th September, also Wolf Cub™ won’t be an exclusive slot anymore and players at all NetEnt Casinos can start enjoying a video slot with the friendly foresters waiting to award players with some big winnings.

One of the most standard features available in a video slot is the Wild. The Wolf Cub™ slot is no exception, bringing an active Wild to the reels. As always, this particular slot feature is going to shine bringing you many extra winning combinations by substituting all other symbols except Scatters.

While the charming wolf cub loves to show the coldness by breathing out heavily, you’ll probably love to see Scatters. Can’t blame you as it’s this slot feature that is responsible for most of the action on the reels. Three or more of them will be responsible for the activation of the Free Spins feature in which a random number of free spins will be awarded. All reels with a Scatter will then spin once more. All symbols involved will show a number and the sum of all of them will show the total number of free spins awarded.

Free Spins are always welcome, but I’m sure the Blizzard feature is adding to excitement in the Wolf Cub™ slot. If a symbol lands fully stacked on reel one, the blizzard will fill up spaces between these symbols and matching symbol on other reels. The more matching symbols, the more spaces will be filled up with more matching symbols resulting in some true slot excitement.

It will be another while before the Wolf Cub™ slot will be available at the NetEnt Casinos, but once globally launched, I’m sure a large group of player will embrace the cute wolfling and some of the slot features involved in this cool slot game.
